Founded originally as The British Embassy Players in 1981, the group flourished under the auspices of the Embassy, producing a rich programme of memorable English language theatre. The Players, as they soon became known, reached out beyond the Embassy and attracted a wider membership from the local and international community. So when the Embassy moved to Berlin in 1997, the group simply carried on, reconstructing itself under German law as The Bonn Players e.V. |
