The Bonn Players offers a wide range of opportunities for people of all nationalities with an interest in English-language theatre.
Activities range from acting and directing through a myriad of important backstage production duties, which include lighting and sound, set construction and costumes, publicity, box-office and front-of- house administration.
There is something to appeal to people from all walks of life including
1. employees of multinational companies and organizations
2. teachers and students
3. anyone with an interest in the English language
Many members of the Bonn Players
have no desire to "tread the boards" (to be on stage in front of an audience).
These members use their talents and experience to work backstage, the MOST
important area of theatre production. Every actor needs support behind the
curtain. In order to present a play, people are needed in ALL the following

Stage Crew (moving the set & props during the actual production-run)

Selling Programmes, Selling drinks during the interval, Cloakroom control,
Ushering and ticket control at the entrance door of the theatre
The jobs are many and varied - and each one is vital to a successful
performance in the theatre
