OUR AUTUMN PRODUCTION 2025

A DOLL’S HOUSE
By Henrik Ibsen
A new version by Amy Herzog
Performed at the Brotfabrik, Bonn-Beuel
Tuesday, 18 to Saturday, 22 November
Thank You!
With great pride, The Bonn Players concluded a six-day run of Amy Herzog’s version of Ibsen’s A Doll’s House on Sunday, 23 November. Following on from last year’s sell-out performances, this was an experiment to tickle the pines for a sixth performance–and it paid off with more than 100 people attending most dates. It was capped off with 135 in attendance for the Sunday matinée, and a number remaining for the question-and-answer session. One of the most poignant moments of the run came during the Q&A session, when a young woman shared that she, too, had been living in a ‘birdcage’ of her own, and that seeing the play had finally given her the courage to leave a domineering partner.
Our thanks go to director Tracy Tollmann, the production team, crew both behind the curtain and front of house, as well as to the six-member cast for making this such a successful show.
A DOLL’S HOUSE (Herzog) is presented by arrangement with Concord Theatricals GmbH
